Traditional set dances

My name is Tereza Bernardová, and I am a qualified Irish dance teacher registered with An Coimisiún Le Rince Gaelacha (CLRG). I hold a Master of Arts in Traditional Irish Dance Performance from the Irish World Academy at the University of Limerick in Ireland, where I lived for 6 years.

I currently run my own school, inSpiral Dance Company, based in Prague, Czech Republic, focusing on various styles of Irish dance. I also work regularly with dancers in Finland, Germany, and Estonia.

Are you preparing for grade exams, Irish dance competitions, or simply want to deepen your understanding of traditional Irish dance? Join me for a special series of live online classes, each dedicated to teaching one of the seven official traditional set dances.

Why learn traditional sets?

These dances are an essential part of Irish dance heritage. Whether you're learning them for exams or personal growth, they provide:

  • A strong foundation for dancing in heavy shoes

  • Exposure to unique and expressive movements

  • A valuable practice and inspiration source

  • Complete choreography (step + set)

  • Structure and rhythm of each dance

  • Detailed explanations of tricky parts

  • Space for questions

Please note:
This is a content-focused class. We will not drill technique, but provide clear instruction so you can practise and develop it further on your own or in your regular dance class.
